Qikiqtaaluk Corporation Announces 4 New Scholarships

Qikiqtaaluk Corporation and its subsidiaries: Qikiqtaaluk Properties Inc., Baffin Gas Limited and Qikiqtani Industry Limited; are pleased to announce that they will be awarding four scholarships of $6,000 each, in the fall to Qikiqtani Region Beneficiaries pursuing post-secondary education. Deadline for applications is August 29, 2014.

Scholarships are being offered in the following fields of study:

Finance, Accounting or Administration
Environmental Services or Project Management
Property Management, Construction or Trades
Retail or Business Management
“For 30 years now, QC has successfully worked towards building Inuit capacity in employment and this program has been developed in recognition of that objective and taking that goal to the next level,” says Levi Barnabas, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
